Other than an issue with my assigned Case Manager, which possibly could have lowered my rating to 4.5 stars instead of 5 stars, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Anthem. My initial communication was prompt, pleasant, and informative. They were not judgmental, only helpful – something I desperately needed. When my case reached the interaction stage with a tax expert, I found him courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. I wasn’t the easiest person to reach most of the time, but he persisted and proved to be invaluable in finally reaching a satisfactory resolution to my tax problems. I’m a customer of Anthem Tax Service and I had problems with the company due to communication issues. I recently wrote a very negative review of Anthem and now I’d like to update my review because I asked for and I was contacted by the owner of Anthem. We had a long and very Positive conversation at which time he made No Excuses. He took 100 percent of the blame and asked for my input in areas that were a problem for me. He explained how the company has had a very rapid growth in the recent year and communication became a major problem. He assured me that my account situation with the IRS was resolved in a Very Positive way and immediately made sure that the issues I had with his company were resolved. I immediately received the confirmation letter from the IRS that I had been seeking informing me of the Positive status I had obtained from the IRS. As a former business owner that also had a Very rapid growth and can understand the problems he was having with so many new employees and new accounts to handle. He promised me that he would make sure that my account would be monitored and that I could rest easy with my previous concerns. I no longer feel that anyone should be worried about any negative reviews they might read because Anthem is correcting their problems and will be able to offer a Great service to their customers!
Barrie was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to resolve my tax issues. He was able to get get the state of CA to remove a lien on my bank account and set up payment plan in just 2 days. I can’t even Express how grateful I am for how hard he worked to get me back on track!
I paid $2600 hundred dollars to this company. Initially they set up a 4 month payment plan for me with IRS; and instructed me to wait for further instructions. Its been 4 months and they have not followed through. Very disappointed with this service.
Anthem has changed my life!!! I’m a Gulf War Vet who build a beautiful Gold’s Gym and family for over 20yrs. A liberal over aggressive DA sued my company and self for 75,000,00.00 for civil compliance issues with my agreements font size in two areas. I would give it a 5, our attorney was wonderful! But a little disappointed in the last couple of months I had emailed her a few times about a few issues that came up and she never emailed me back or responded, it’s almost like well I took care of your payment plan and now I don’t have to communicate anymore with the client. All I ask is a response to my emails. I know she’s busy but at least respond within a week or so.
Denise is one of the quickest and most efficient that I’ve worked with. She got my 2018 bookkeeping done in bulk, in a timely manner. And when asked to get 2019 done in less than ten days in order for my loan to get approved, she pulled it off. She’s diligent in her work, and understanding in interpreting the numbers, while working with you to make sure everything is accurate on all ends. Highly recommended.
My experience has been up front and still kind for someone like me that was 73 years old, not in the best of health, Wondering how in the world did I get here and owe this much.
